Soulfire Fire Circle October 8th-9th, 2011

When the path is covered by the falling leaves, and the colors that surround us shout to our heARTs wonder, the vibrancy of life reminds us we have come Full Circle.

Join Mz. imani, BrightHawk, Jeanette Ladores, Su Walenta and Brighid Murphy as we gather to honor our bounty and blessings, and speak to our ancestors by making prayers for the future generations.

Opening to the mysteries of the mountain, Full Circle is a sonic celebration of the magic and the mystery that has brought us to where we are and to all that we hold sacred. An honoring of light and shadow, we are cultivating our path with purpose. We hear the call of our Mother Earth, as she is shaking and quaking, and we are called to return to the Fire and sing and dance for her wellness and balance.

Storytelling Playshop with Bright Hawk
A story, a story―Let it Come and Let it go! The focus of this playshop will be telling, sharing and co-creating stories of transformation; a time for telling the kind of stories we all want to believe in or live from― moments that create new beginnings or understandings. Your life is a story, you get to tell any way you like―what story are you telling yourself or others these days? Who inspires you? Have you ever had a magical experience with a wild animal in nature? What experiences have changed you, how and why? What have your greatest failures taught you? What have you overcome? Do you know your gifts and how you want to be described or remembered? Do you know what time it is? Story Time!

Bright Hawk is an inspired and inspiring musician and storyteller, sharing her gifts around the world for more than twenty years to the delight of all. Her playful spirit and intense passion come through in her amazing djembe playing and teaching, the motivational stories she tells, and the exquisite music of the Hang PanArt drum. Bright Hawk’s recordings include Echoes of the Deep Waters with Jason Cohen, Chris Baum and Eric Freeman; as well as recording the soundtrack to Becoming an Oracle a seven CD meditation series with Nicki Sculley for Sounds True recordings. Bright Hawk has played and performed with mz imani for nearly two decades. Bright Hawk lives in Boulder, Colorado, and is currently working on a story book and DVD of her work.
